The nanopartical [sic] network (shortened as nanos) is a global network of microscopic machines that protect and save humans from every conceivable environmental hazard. The network was deployed in the 2800s and perfected in the 3500s.
The nanos are capable of putting out fires, catching falling humans, pulling people out of car wrecks, etc, but they don't care about material possessions. Nanos will also clean carbon dioxide out of the air and synthesize granola bars for starving people.
